Boon Siew Honda unveils Vario 125 scooter

Boon Siew Honda has unveiled the latest ICE scooter to join its line-up of automatic bikes, the new Vario 125. Scooter fans who enjoy daily commuting via a sleek, sporty machine would love the new Vario 125.

Among the features of Vario 125:

New 124.9cc 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with eSP to ensure optimum performance on the roads and Idling Stop System (ISS) and maximise fuel economy

Honda SMART Key System with Anti-Theft Prevention for additional protection plus Auto Respond
Built-in USB charger socket via the console box in addition to an 18-liter storage compartment underneath the seat, with ample space for a pillion

LED Light System used for all lighting requirements including the sporty digital speedometer

The Vario 125's engine has a maximum horsepower of 8.55kW @ 8,500rpm and maximum torque of 11.74Nm @ 5,000rpm, based on in-house test. The eSP Technology is proven effective where fuel consumption is concerned, ensuring economy mileage. The Honda Smart Key System is another feature of the new Vario 125, which a first for a 125 class scooter.

Among its safety features is the aforementioned Anti-Theft Prevention, which would trigger the alarm when the bike detects vibration when stationary. Auto Respond feature would relay back information of the scooter's location to the rider when the immobiliser is activated.

Another noteworthy feature of the Honda Vario 125 is the built-in USB charger slot, located inside the console box. It will also extend the scooter's internal battery by keeping it charged when on the move. There's also two smaller storage compartments in the Vario 125 which enable stuff like a bottled water or riding gloves be kept.

The Vario 125 comes fitted with a 100/80-14 rear tyre, to give cornering ability that's precise and increase confidence to the rider. Finally, the new Honda Vario 125 is available in 3 colour scheme – Red, Blue and Yellow, and can be purchased from all authorised Honda dealers with effect from March 14, 2023. The new Vario 125 is retailing for just RM7,080.
