2023 Kuala Lumpur Bike Show at PWTC
The much-awaited Kuala Lumpur Bike Show 2023 has come and went. The event, which was held at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) over two levels of exhibition space, was a sight to behold despite the criticisms (as usual, from trigger-happy “experts”) received.
Honda Motorcycles, was present via their official importer/distributor, Boon Siew Honda. They had the largest booth at the show, but with only 1 new model on display, the CB350RS, as the other 3 models, were delayed by shipping. Next was M-Force Holdings, with 8 Chinese brands on display, ranging from WMoto, Benelli-Keeway, CFMoto, Qjimotor and SYM. Others making their presence at the event were Ducati Malaysia, Fantic Motorcycles, Husqarna Motorcycles, MV Agusta and Suzuki Motorcycles Malaysia.
On Level 3 were accessories, riding apparel brands, helmets, lubricants and heritage motorcycles, such as vintage 2-strokers, on display.
Comments and criticisms ranged from cringing types to constructive.
Some of the cringing types are like: “There’s nothing to see” to “Tickets as well as F&B prices are expensive” while constructive ones were: “It’s refreshing to finally see a show dedicated to motorcycles and bike-related stuff without the car brands” to “Get to see new bikes been showcased in advance prior to them available from the dealers!”
Here, we present to you the sights, the bikes and the glamour side of a motorcycle show in PICTURES! Enjoy.
